HTC SuperSonic on Sprint?

The blogs are afire with rumors of an Android powered WiMAX handset that is set to launch on the Sprint network sometime soon. Engadget reports that as of the time of their posting, the device is expected to have the following features:
  • 4.3-inch non-AMOLED display in a cool shell.
  • Kickstand on the back, so you can set the device on your desk and watch videos at ease
  • Running Android 2.1 with HTC's Sense UI (currently available on the HTC Hero) and powered by Qualcomm's superfast Snapdragon processor

So is this just wishful thinking, or is this monster of a phone really on its way to us at Sprint Speed?
